Jim has worked as a Millwright Journeyman for almost 50 years and serves as one of the founders and General Superintendent of Bortnick Construction. He has worked with and supervised crews providing maintenance on machinery in plants such as Reliant Energy, Owens Illinois, PPG, International Paper, Dad’s Dog Foods, Domino Sugar, Sithe Power Hydro plant, Lord’s Chemical, and others. Jim earned his Associate’s Degree from New Castle Business College, is married to wife Marie, and has lived in the area since childhood.
Russ Nelson has worked as a Millwright Journeyman for almost 35 years and is state certified. With extensive prior experience working with and supervising crews providing installation and maintenance for plant machinery for most of the same customers as Jim, Russ partnered with Jim in 1984 to start Botnick Construction. Russ serves as Operations and Project Manager for the company. Having grown up in the area, Russ is married to wife Doreen and is a graduate of Conneaut Valley High School.
Leah Loucks has worked for Bortnick
Construction for over 10 years and oversees all daily office activities. Leah manages the accounting and
administrative functions for the company including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, payroll, and office management.
A graduate of Linesville High
School, she also earned her Associates Degree from Jamestown Business College
in Business Administration – Marketing & Management. Leah has lived in the area for over 35 years
and presently resides in Linesville.
